Except for a test model or two, the USAAF never operated the F4U. No doubt this was done to balance the game, but things like this pretty well destroy whatever historical value that the game might have had. This largely cancels out the US edge in industrial efficiency. I also notice that the IC costs for equivalent items in Japan are roughly half what they are in the US. Now, how hard would have been for them to call him something like "Armor Leader" or "Armor Expert"?
